FDA Expands CoolSculpting® Treatment Options for Chin
With European approval in 2000, and U.S. FDA approval in 2012, CoolSculpting® has established a solid track record as an effective, minimally invasive fat removal treatment system, with more than six million treatments performed worldwide. Already FDA cleared to treat visible fat bulges in the thigh, abdomen, flank, back and submental (chin) area, the agency in December expanded submental treatment to cover all lax tissue in conjunction with fat in the double chin.
